Ah love Story

Cary Kelly first ventured to Europe in 1979 and was awakened to a lifestyle based on fresh flavors, local and natural ingredients, and simple recipes; all common in European homes.  Her souvenir was three bottles of fruity, green Italian olive oil, a rare find in American groceries. 

Cary, with husband Kevin, has continued to feed that love of fresh wholesome cuisine as they have traveled the world.  Their favorite is the Mediterranean, the heart of olive production.  Olive oil, like wine, changes with the soil, temperature and milling of its country of origin and is meant to be experienced to find what most pleases your palate and suits your recipe. Balsamic vinegar, from Modena, Italy, is a rich, sweet and pungent elixir that bursts forth with flavor without adding calories.  Authentic balsamic vinegar from Modena is not an easy find; most grocery store offerings are colored with caramel and weak and thin in flavor.  It’s possible you’ve never tasted the real thing.  You’ll fall in love.

Ah love invites you into a warm Mediterranean country farmhouse environment where you can taste the freshest and best of the fruit and the grape.  We have brought those treasures so long ago discovered and now a part of our home to you.  Ah love will transform your kitchen with favorite recipes and surprise you with the hundreds of uses for olive oil and balsamic in your home - beyond the kitchen. Directions:
From Washington, D.C.: take I-395 South to the Shirlington exit, just past Glebe Road.  Take the first left, then a right onto Campbell Avenue at the Capital City Brewery. Ah love Oil & Vinegar will be on your right.
  
From Richmond, VA: take I-95 North to I-395 North to Quaker Lane/Shirlington exit.  Proceed into the Village at Shirlington.  Ah love Oil & Vinegar will be on your right between Capital City Brewery and Nirvana Spa.
